This is the freedom of speech page.. or the "SoapBox" welcome!.. obviously you dropped by because you figured... hey, I need to see how messed up this person is... well here we go... Well another Monday and another rant... I tried a controversy stint, where I drew some shit I would've never imagined drawing...say, a year ago... but now I'm drawing some smut and still working on the softcore stuff. When I was at AC I was making jokes about, "Be different, buy softcore!"... and as stupid as it was it was true... most all the stuff that really sold big was the adult pics. I mean, C'mon what's wrong with the softcore pics... I mean, after all, people like them, the younger crowd can view my wares, and everyone enjoys a classic pin-up... but then again I realize that people are becoming more and more... decadent... in their desires. When someone asks for a picture that looks like something from Rocky Horror... yeah, I'm sure people are becoming more and more aware of what turns them on, and although that's a good thing, it sort of bewilders me at the same time. How many actually enjoyed the pics of the watersports, the preteen, the sad and demeaned? How many thought that what I was drawing was a good thing and that I should continue? If I learned anything from the pics I drew it's that people are pretty damn accepting of most anything, and that leaves infinite possiblities as to the direction I take while drawing... So because of my experiences at AC, I now realise the direction I must take to ensure that I am adequately prepared for what may come about next year, so expect alot of different stuff to come down the pike, and although it's either hard or soft, hopefully everyone out there will enjoy it just the same...
