This is the freedom of speech page.. or the "SoapBox" welcome!.. obviously you dropped by because you figured... hey, I need to see how messed up this person is... well here we go... Usually when someone emails someone or IMs them, they have a reason, an agenda on which they wanted to talk to that person about... why else would someone just casually IM someone without provocation?... This got me thinking... just because my AIM addy is in the forums does that make it okay for people to blindly want to talk... and talk about what?... I'm not a very social person.. reading my previous rants will obviously give you the impression that I'm a cold hearted bastard that everyone should avoid like the plague... still.. it makes me curious why people will attempt to talk to somebody... and then expect the person they wanted to talk to do all the talking... So I'm waiting for a couple of minutes... and for the life of me I don't know what they want... I ask them what they want and even they don't really know... then the most curious thing happened... like I was shot into a chatroom... I was asked for my a/s/l... As if this person randomly typed my name and decided... why not! I directed them to my profile... it's the button that's directly UNDERNEATH the rant button... So after a failed attempt to coerce me into blabbing about my intricate life details... I decided to ask the same question... okay... fine.. that's nice... I still don't know what they wanted from me... was it the website? the forum? I didn't know... then they signed off.... they signed off and that ended the "conversation" Now I know that discussing this in the rant seems cruel... at least only if the party brings attention to it.. I'm not doing this to be chiding or to be spiteful.. I am doing this however as an example to everyone else who wants to IM me... please have a reason... If you want to IM me... expect to do most of the talking... cause I'm not going to reveal things to strangers just because you ask... that's insane... I'm not a very social person, I've never thought of going out of my way to make friends... it happened or it didn't... oddly enough it did... still!, I don't know what to do if you IM me, so again, reasons make the conversation flow... when I IM'd the people I do talk too, I had an invite to do so... and they had a reason since I didn't... so no invite? means you have to have the reason!... I can't stress this enough... without reason a conversation doesn't make sense... allright, I'm finished for this week, go look at the smut I drew... have fun...enjoy^^ OMGTKB (Ben) Y'know what?
