This is the freedom of speech page.. or the "SoapBox" welcome!.. obviously you dropped by because you figured... hey, I need to see how messed up this person is... well here we go... The day of chocolate and flowers approach us... for some it's a time of new love and new beginnings... others another day of being together and a way to think back on all the good times... and for the bastards, a time to feint love in order to gain favor with your significant other for cheating on them all year round... Now when I mention bastards... that's both men and women... there's no one side to this coin... both parties are evil... giving someone a night out or some form of material posession is not a way to redeem yourself for 364 days of frigidity... especially since this one-night affair is just that... one night... No next day cuddling, no waking up together and smiling pleased at the night before... no it becomes the sin of there wrong doing.. and with every look, glance that follows... it will be a reminder to them about the horrible deed they commit most every day... But most people get over that and the party that wasn't cheating seems to forget the wrongful deeds of the other... just long enough for the day of cupid to come by again... and it's because of that odd occurance it's led me to believe that most people are idiots... just fools looking for love regardless of how it gets to them.. a simple token of affection and a person's heart is all aflutter... Valentines day should be reserved for the noble in heart, the ones with good intentions, the ones who actually wake up that morning and despite going to work just want to hold the one they're with for just a little while longer... and even though they can't stay forever, hopefully that small token of appreciation for being who they are will remind them of you while you are away... Sadly though, this isn't the case.. it's come down to a card and some flowers or chocolate... a business endeavor to leech off the populous of morons that try to delude themselves into believing that such a day is their redemption...
