Welcome to The SoapBox!! Yes... This is the "Soap Box"... which means I can put anything I want here and not give a damn what you think. No auctions yet this week... but when there are auctions to be had, I will update the site and let all you art savvy people know about it... cause I know you want to help me get to AC... anyhow... I was watching the Television and the Honey Nut Cheerios commercial comes on, the one where buzz the bee realizes that he can fly when he tries to save the baby from falling over the honey waterfall... anyhow, I'm watching this and I see that buzz the bee STEALS the baby's cheerio bowl away from him and starts eating it... how awful is that? another commercial I saw was the truth commercial where the guy is talking about how this one guy inspired him to write and how the other guy dropped out of school and was a boozer and how he could've been a somebody if only he didn't smoke pot... but the guy was a boozer, not a pothead... so the commercial makes no sense to me... it's just more crappy filler that makes me realise they didn't think things through when they made it... I did enjoy the commercial about how second hand smoke harms your body.. it affected me more than any of those stupid "truth" commercials ever could... I mean, how much can you affect someone if your tactics are childish and filled with taunts... and the damnable commercials about the tobacco companies put as a sitcom... that's just dumb... and it just seems like a cheap shot at anyone who works in big business... I want a commercial against smoking that will hit home and make people stop and stare, like a deer in headlights... I want them to make sure that whoever's watching will want to put down that cigarette and realize the damage that they're doing to their bodies... But no... just some stupid commercials filled with the taunting of a tobacco company building... anyhow that's all I feel like ranting about this week... if you want more daily rants find my LiveJournal page... the more to you if you do... happy hunting...
