I HATE WORK... but don't get me wrong, I like working... it just depends on the type of work... I have a Bachelors in Fine Arts, yet I'm working as a box jockey in the shoe department of a store I won't name... cause let's face it... I'm not proud of the work I'm doing... it sucks.. it's boring, it's tedious and annoying... yet I need the cash they provide so that I can quit and move out of state after AnthroCon... so I have to put up with the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune as they come and hit...

However I suppose what's most annoying is that when I had a job in my field, they had me originally doing clerical, then they gave me graphics jobs... oh how joyful it was, I was putting my education to use... and I was getting paid more than I am now for doing essentially "less" work... or rather, it wasn't less, but easier work... at least to me it was easy, but I've always been a wiz when it came to my studies in art... or rather computer art... but that's not to say I don't have a penchant for analog work, but to find work in that type of setting is tough as it is... but something I aspire for regardless...

I hope that eventually I'll be able to move and find a job storyboarding... my main passion is storyboards... there's an appeal to designing how a scene should look for a major production that makes me feel as though it's the most exciting and worthwhile job known to man... I yearn for that, it's my overall goal and one of the main reasons why I continue to draw this web comic, as it makes me think of things in terms of storyboarding, and if I didn't have to clean up the frames, I'd probably make things more dramatic, but eh... I'm striving to get better and one day use this comic as my resume to get hired.

Anyhow, that's all this week, just to summarize.. I hate work, and I can't wait to move out of here so I can hate work somewhere else, until I can find that job I want in storyboarding sometime within 4 years from now... so here's to hopin' and y'all take easy... see ya next time.
