Welcome to JAWC v2.5 : With My Bandana of the Smilies... I rant... Thanksgiving... That's today...well at least here in the states, I never really know what to think about the whole Thanksgiving day deal... I've never been one for tradition, in fact I know that may shock some people but I could care less about turkey.. hell, I could be cooking giblets tomorrow with a baked potato and some corn on the side if I don't get a direct invite... no one should ever invite themselves to someone elses place, and by no means accept a third party invite... it's rude and just wrong... especially if the first party didn't want you there after all... how embarassing would that be... So as far as I know I'm pretty much alone for the whole T-day feast or whatever the hell is going on, I know that I'll prolly be drawing Fridays comic tomorrow and then work on a commission or rather get that done tonight for approval for later that night on T-day... yeah, I've got alot to do, especially since I want to get a headstart on things... I need that buffer to survive... -_-;; But still, native americans teach us about planting, thanksgiving is about harvest... and later on the white man kills off the native americans and in turn takes over the land they once taught us to cultivate with care... what a slap in the face... it's hypocritical and overall... creepy that we celebrate the only good thing we did and sorta ignore everything else... but eh, ignorance is bliss...
