Welcome to JAWC v2.5 : how I hate the day after...

Christmas is over... and it's back to the daily grind... how I dread.. DREAD... going back to work... but at least it's only four days until another 3 day weekend because of new years... so hooray for people wanting to get so liquored up they can't drive the next day... here's one to you, ya lushes!...

I'm feeling better than I have since the weekend started... my body has recuperated nicely and whatever was wrong seems to have passed and all is well... and I'm glad to say that this is the last week of my daily updates to JAWC!... will I continue to do daily updates passed the allotted time?... not sure... it's an awful strain and it's not even like I colour or put a lot of details into it... I don't know how others can do it flawlessly... I'm in awe because of it and envy their abilities to do so...

Regardless... it'll be fun to go back to the way things were comic-wise, especially since I have to gear up for I-Con in a few months, then AnthroCon after that... so expect me to put up some auction listing on the site or something... I need to raise some cash otherwise I'll be that annoying dealer that everyone hates, yelling at passerbys to stop and peruse my wares... I'd become that money whore that almost literally grabs your arm saying, you wanna buy some art?... I don't wanna be that guy... -_-;;;

Anyhow, a lot of stuff coming down the pike, from commissions to selling stuff on furbid... so keep a lookout because starting next year I'm on a quest for more money... so I can make it to the events I enjoy going to... maybe you'll see me there... and then you can yell at me for being such a pontificating jackass that deserves a swift kick to the side of the head for being such a prat... always nice to meet a fan ^^

Moving on... It's been one hell of a holiday... sure being alone really bites... but overall it's not too bad... it's an experience that has taught me that although I continually don't have a lot, what I do have I'm very greatful for... and that's something people ignore far too often... it's about time we realize that holidays are meant to be enjoyed with realizing all we have instead of what we want... I suppose that's what "It's A Wonderful Life" was all about... it wasn't about getting away, wasn't about the money... it was about being thankful for what we have and the people we hold dear to us... sure this is ending schmaltzy... but eh, welcome to it...
