Welcome to JAWC v3.0 : Tiki Man Graphics, now at table B14 during AnthroCon...

Well, I'm set up as a returning guest for I-Con, a Sci-Fi Convention back in New York. I'm listed there along with a whole slough of really cool people... so if you're going, feel free to come on by and give me a hassle... or be kind... -_-;;

Anyhow, I'll be plugging I-con until March 20th or so.. cause at that point, hell, you're goin' or you're not, no reason to belabor the point... it'd be dumb of me to do so... regardless... feel free to come and see me, and everyone else... it'll be fun... I'll be the big guy in sunglasses and a smiley face bandana... hopefully this time I'll be looking out for CYD!, and can call them on it during a panel... heh... or end up mocked by them a second time... meh...

Anyhow, AnthroCon is coming up in July... and with that, I'll be having a full table this year... it seems that it's the best route to go, especially knowing that for two years a half table just isn't enough... anyhow, you won't find me under JAWC!... nope, I'm going by my business name of Tiki Man Graphics... so if you're wondering where I am, I'll be at Table B14 this year... keep an eye out for me, cause I'll prolly be wearing a hawaiian shirt and sunglasses... but I'll be mentioning more of this as the Con comes closer...

A lot of shit pisses me off, and fifth wheeling is one of 'em... I hate being the guy that comes as a last minute thought... as though my existance wasn't valid until I mentioned something, then it's all, fine come along, we want you to... but I was never in the damnable plans, so you lied to me?... now it's awkward... and awkward silence isn't a good thing, unless you feel comfortable with the person that provides it...

Just, so damned annoying... I have feelings too, y'know?... I don't spring things on people last second, unless I'm being spontaneous, which for anyone that knows me, I'm the least spontaneous person ever... I like to plan and plan until I'm comfortable... of course if given enough notice or given the person, I'll do things spur of the moment, I'm not that much of a stick in the mud... regardless! I just find it irritating to know that I've been lied to, let alone to my face, as though I'm not really a person, just a means to an end in order to placate a ravaged feeling... fifth wheeling sucks.

I'm sick and tired of shitty ads... I'm in a theatre, and Cingular, wants me to turn off my cellphone because it interrupts the movie... now this commercial they put on is stupid... and I really mean stupid in a contradictory fashion that makes no sense...

A guy is trying to get his girl back after apparently doing something stupid... mind you that's when Sydney Pollack comes into his house, into the kitchen and starts giving critique on what he's doing... when the guy says he'll call her back, Sydney Pollack says,"Oh, am I interrupting your phone call? How rude of me..." That's when Cingular says that we should silence our cellphones...

I don't know about you, but I'd be enthralled if Sydney Pollack came into my room and directed me on how to apologize and get my girl back... that'd be several kinds of awesome... famous hollywood director, telling me exactly what to do?... it'd be a goldmine of knowledge bestowed upon my broken heart, aiding me into doing things right... Cingular has it wrong... what they need to do is get some loudmouthed jackass walk into his home and start smashing things... then the tag line could read, "Don't ruin my movie, we won't ruin your call... Silence your Cellphones."

That'd at least be more entertaining and true to what celphone talkers do to movies... not some famous guy coming in and helping you out... that's like saying that it's okay to talk during the movie, because you're really helping... what a contradictory commercial... pathetic in it's attempt to stop the freaks on the phones.

Saw Casino Royale and Pans' Labrynth... both AWESOME movies... really, really... people.. you need to see both of these movies... Bond finally gets back to the action and smarmy sarcasm which made him cool, suave and glib... always able to pull off a one-liner should be a pre-requisite for a bond role... sorry Pierce, but you never could do it... I don't care how much you squint your' eyes... Casino Royale brings it back to action and intrigue... the movie took me from sitting back in my chair to the edge of my seat, balancing mystery, action and awesome together... simply amazing...

As for Pans' Labyrinth... Thought provoking, with a really great storyline, from the beginning of the film, we realize the terrors that will befall our heroine, and even then we don't really see it coming... or at least we hope it won't happen... but even when it does, we know that the movie makes for a great time, from beginning to end, the spanish war, the factions, the betrayel and obsession... all meld together in this great and gruesome tale that makes us wonder, what really happens at the end... is there more to life than what meets the eyes? or perhaps we're all apart of this ethereal life that extends beyond the physical. a must see.

Let's see... I dunno, I'm gonna go and get some sleep, it's late and I have work in the morning... take care all, see ya later.
