Penelope awakes to the mall burning, she escapes her fiery confines and escapes the mall into the wooded area nearby.

John discusses the idea of a new smoothie shoppe with Brandon, meanwhile Angelina and Miranda patch things up with each other and Miranda still fretting whether or not Brandon will call her... Donovan goes out to check the mall after last nights fiasco, he discovers Penelope is missing and escapes from the police in the area... he runs into the woods and trips over Penelope into the lake, the two of them head back to his place where she makes herself comfortable on his couch... Eryl and his father are talking about the things Eryl did and how he'll have to deal with Eryl later, Eryl is embittered and vows revenge on those who thwarted his schemes..

Jocelyn wakes up and heads off to work, meanwhile Donovan is learning that Penelope is able to change her appearance, and ends up telling Penny that they need to get her some clothing... Jocelyn is now at work and doesn't like her job, she laments her position in life and continues to stock the back room from the mornings drop off of odds and ends... meanwhile, Donovan is having Penny buy some new outfits and is treated to a montage of diffrent outfits...

Brandon and John walk to the new store John decided to buy with the bank loan... meanwhile, Eryl convinces his father that he should continue his research, the father warns Eryl not to screw things up and Eryl heads to his study and plots more revenge... Miranda however is waiting by her apartment phone for Brandon's call, when her celphone rings...it turns out to be Brandon, it seems she forgot she gave him her cel number back at the mall, they set a date for Ice Cream on Friday evening... Brandon tells John what happened...

Miranda is talking to Angelina about yesterdays phone call with Brandon and they talk about the date and Ice-cream and how Miranda hopes Jocelyn is doing well... Donovan is finding out what he knows about Penny, and finding out that she's more human than Eryl would've ever wanted her... filled with doubt about her creation and her life, Donovan undertakes the task to help her out teaching her the basics of Right and Wrong, through television... and then we check back with Angeline and Miranda who wrap up Wednesday with wondering why ice-cream?

John and Brandon go to clean up the shoppe and talk about the upcoming date and John expresses his concerns to his and Angelina's past. Meanwhile, Anglina and Miranda go shopping for their date on Friday. Donovan and Penelope end up doing laundry and end up meeting up with Jocelyn by chance and end up discussing Penelope's future and how Jocelyn can help. Meanwhile, Eryl is introduced to his new cybernetic lab and secretly plots his nefarious plans for the future.

Brandon is running from someone, and that someone just pushed him off a building? Luckily it was all a fun dream... anyhow, he wakes up and he and john end up having breakfast and then it's back to the shoppe to finish things up... meanwhile Miranda's freaking out about the date, Angelina comes over and tries to comfort her, regardless of her own hatred to have to be going on the date in the first place. Jocelyn goes shopping for movie night, and well things go rather well, Jocelyn becomes an authorized user over Penny and learns that she can change her appearance and anatomy, they continue to watch movies and the three of them end up falling asleep on the couch... Meanwhile, the date is on and Angelina is being a bitch like always, Brandon is trying to make the best of a bad situation, especially when he learns the ice crea shoppe has been closed down, and so they eat some fast food and on their way to the mini golf course, they find it ablaze... that's right, the golf course is on fire... This of course cuts the date short, and they all head to their respective homes, Angelina goes to her apartment and seeths with hatred towards the duo of disaster, Miranda heads to her apartment looking foward to her and Brandon's next date and John and Brandon get some needed shuteye after a long long day of crap...

Waking up, Jocelyn is shocked to find Donovan and Penne in her bed and naked... she freaks out and the situation is explained, being an authorized user has it's setbacks I guess? Brandon and John chat about the date, John realizing he never wants to see Angelina again and Brandon planning on another date with Miranda, We then check on Miranda and Angelina who go out to brunch and end up having a very odd conversation... Oddly enough we end the volume with Eryle overlooking a set of blueprints with the codename in the corner of "Heather"... Curiouser and curiouser... on to the next volume as we follow that white rabbit further down the rabbit hole...
